Join us as we journey through the famous Northern Circuit of Tanzania, travelling through two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The world-renowned and contender for the number one safari park worldwide, Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and the World’s largest caldera, Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This tour differs from your generic safari as we opt for a unique boutique and specially located accommodation to get up close and personal with wildlife as we journey through the Tarangire ecosystem on a walking safari, followed by a night game drive as we search for the nocturnal wanderers. For our fellow elephant admirers, Tarangire National Park boasts Tanzania’s highest population of African elephants. After we venture down the road to experience the flora-dense, Lake Manyara National Park with an attempt to spot the Tree Climbing Lions and home to an incredible array of bird species playing paradise for an ornithologist. After breakfast, we experience a walking safari in Tarangire before departing for game viewing with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. This evening, we have the opportunity for a night game drive, which offers a different dimension of game viewing as we search for nocturnal wanderers.

After breakfast, we will make our way to Lake Manyara National Park carrying picnic lunch for game viewing. We will also visit a Masai Boma en route. In the late afternoon, we will leave the park and head to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge.

After breakfast, we will depart for Serengeti by climbing the Great Rift Valley escarpment and transiting through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will continue game viewing throughout the day until we arrive at our tented camp, where we expect to witness the migration during our month of travel.

Afternoon we depart for Naabi Hill gate and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area where we have the opportunity to stretch the legs during a crater rim walk with an NCAA ranger. Late evening we make our way to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

This morning, after breakfast, we will descend the crater rim for game viewing on the crater floor. We will have a picnic lunch during the game viewing. Afterwards, we will ascend the 600-meter high crater walls and depart for Arusha or Kilimanjaro for onward connections. We recommend booking an evening flight that departs after 18:00.
